Fall Faire

I have always felt a deep sense of inspiration when it comes to creating a nostalgic summer carnival. However, as the fall season approached, my dear friend Mie from Hygge Creative proposed the idea of transforming our vision into a cozy fall carnival. Embracing this exciting concept, we joined forces and collaborated to bring to life an event that would evoke feelings of nostalgia among our guests. The Swanner House, with its charming ambiance, served as the perfect venue for our event, offering a backdrop that exuded an old-town charm.

This marked our first family-friendly event, and we were determined to make it truly special. To cater to the younger guests, we brought in electric tractors and had Wish Out Loud paint faces. To add to this old-town charm, we hand painted vintage inspired signage. These signs not only added to the aesthetic but also showcased the vendors who took part in making the event a success.

Adore Folklore contributed the most perefct gingham bar and rustic farm tables that seamlessly blended with the setting. Carnival games were set up, and hay bales were placed to evoke that classic carnival atmosphere. Guests were offered burgers from Ahba, refreshing beer and cocktails from local brewery; Capo Leisure House, specialty Coffee Drinks from True Love Coffee, and artisanal baked goods from Salted Butter Company. Guests were treated to warm apple cider, pretzel bites, and kettlecorn at our food stand.

Our Spare Change offered charm bracelet-making, while Seager provided an opportunity for guests to test their skills at lassoing a metal bull head. We created a "Sunday Market" where guests could purchase treats such as s'mores kits, organic apples, canned cider, and jam. To enhance the nostalgic experience, we screened the classic "Charlie Brown's Great Big Pumpkin" in the Swanner House's water tower.

The event was a huge success, bringing the community together to celebrate in the spirit of the new season. It was heartwarming to witness the joy of families and friends that filled the air as guests enjoyed the festivities and created memories.
